How to schedule an advising appointment:
  • Current Astronomical and Planetary Sciences students can schedule an appointment by logging into your My ASU page and navigating to Academic Support Team > Academic Advising.  NOTE: Newly admitted ASU Online students must complete a pre-advising course before scheduling an appointment. To enroll in the course please see the "New Students" section below. New ASU Online students who schedule an appointment but do not have a completed course on file will be asked to reschedule.
  • Prospective students with questions regarding our online degree, please email us at sese-online@asu.edu.
Preparing for your advising appointment:
  • We highly encourage students to connect with us over Zoom for advising (no camera required). Zoom appointments allow the advisor to better assist you during your appointment because we can screen share with you during the meeting to show you where to find important information and resources, and also provide important notes and links in the chat box.
  • All students should prepare for advising appointments by reviewing their full Degree Audit Report (DARS), reviewing their major map, and creating a list of questions or discussion items for the advisor.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at: sese-online@asu.edu
