Biography

Mark Miner took his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2013, researching boiling heat transfer in small-scale flows, particularly in microchannels.  He is currently teaching as well as working on space-thermal simulation and analysis projects associated with the following instruments: OTES for OSIRIS-REx (launched fall 2016), EMIRS for EMM (launch summer 2020), LTES for LUCY (launch 2021) and ETHEMIS for Europa Clipper (launch ~2022).
