Geosciences Alumni Scholarship

The Geosciences Alumni Scholarship (GAS) is an annual scholarship based on the contributions of ASU Geoscience alumni and friends of the geological science. This scholarship is intended for junior or senior undergraduate students and first or second year graduate students majoring in the geosciences. The GAS is not strictly an academic scholarship; student need is considered as well as special opportunities for travel to conferences, etc. Awards are intended to help cover travel to a scientific conference, tuition and fees (books, etc.) or to help defray the cost of field camp. The selection committee consists of the donors. If circumstances permit, more than one applicant will be chosen to receive an award.
